SHODH resolved to direct the dissemination funds of the SANDEE funded research project entitled “ Institutional Structure and Sustainable Collective Action” towards creating awareness among the tribal community regarding the various tribal welfare schemes and programs of the government and helping the communities avail them .  A workshop was held in Mendha village in Gadchiroli district in January 2004, where the villagers and the government officials got to interact directly with each other.
